About Empowered Path Health Coaching
Like many people, I’ve spent my fair share of time feeling unheard in medical settings—both as a patient and as a healthcare provider trying to advocate for others. My journey to creating Empowered Path was shaped by both sides of that experience.
Over the years, I faced several significant health challenges that were repeatedly misdiagnosed or dismissed. I was told my symptoms were “stress-related,” “chronic pain,” or that I just needed to “push through.” Each of these could have been diagnosed sooner if someone had listened with genuine curiosity and taken the time to see the full picture. Those delays brought physical and emotional challenges, but they also gave me an unshakable understanding of how isolating it feels to be unseen, unheard, and mislabeled while navigating health issues.
As a physical therapist, I began seeing the same pattern from the other side of the exam table. Patients came in with symptoms that didn’t fit neatly into a musculoskeletal box—only to discover that something deeper was being overlooked. I watched countless people fall through the cracks, shuffled between specialists, missing key pieces of communication, and often blamed for their own suffering. Even when providers cared deeply, the system itself was too fragmented and overburdened to deliver the thoughtful, connected care people deserve.
That realization changed everything for me. I saw that while I could provide excellent physical therapy care, what people often needed most was validation, understanding, and guidance in navigating their broader health journey. I no longer wanted to just treat symptoms—I wanted to help people find their footing in a system that so often leaves them feeling small or confused.
My background blends science and empathy: degrees in geoscience and environmental science taught me to recognize patterns and systems; physical therapy taught me to listen and problem-solve; and my own health experiences taught me deep compassion and respect for the human story behind every diagnosis. I’ve learned that both the big picture and the smallest details matter when helping people feel whole again.
I don’t believe anyone needs to be “fixed.” Health challenges don’t make you broken—they’re part of your story, not your identity. And while not every condition can be cured, everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered to take ownership of their care and healing journey.
Through Empowered Path, my mission is to help others feel what I once needed most: to be heard, validated, and supported. You don’t have to become a medical expert to move confidently through the system—you just need to become the expert on yourself. Together, we can build the clarity, language, and confidence to navigate your care with calm authority and renewed hope.

My Coaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every person already holds the insight and capacity needed to move toward healing—they simply need the space, tools, and validation to access it. I approach each session as a collaboration, combining evidence-based knowledge with intuitive understanding to help clients feel grounded, clear, and confident in their next steps. I don’t “fix” people; I help them rediscover their own inner wisdom and voice within the healthcare system, so they can find alignment and balance between knowledge, intuition, and healing.
